Unlikely Friendships: An Interfaith Response to the Changing Face of America

David Fraccaro is a recent graduate of Union Theological Seminary and Columbia University in New York City with a focus on religion and human rights. David has worked internationally on issues related to human rights and conflict resolution in Bolivia, Kenya, and East Timor. In addition, he has worked with United Caring Shelters for the homeless in Evansville, Indiana, and has volunteered with the Council of American Indian Ministries of the UCC in rural Oklahoma, and with No More Deaths on the Arizona/Mexico border.
David currently works with the Interfaith Youth Core in Chicago as an Education and Outreach trainer, working specifically on a new "Stranger to Neighbor" initiative which seeks to build greater interfaith collaboration and friendship between diverse communities of faith and their immigrant/refugee neighbors. In addition to speaking on Thursday night, David will host a training on Saturday morning, July 17 for the Stranger to Neighbor initiative. All are welcome.
