Summer Term
A flexible taste of the Resident Program
June 25 – August 7, 2010
The Summer Term offers not only the opportunity to choose from a wealth of workshops and retreats. It is also an invitation to join the Pendle Hill resident community: to worship, work, study, and serve with others and to deepen your experience of Quaker faith and practice. If you are a teacher or a writer, this summer's program may especially appeal to you.
Pendle Hill's summer term is a flexible term of up to six-weeks. Students pay a flat-rate all-inclusive $750 per week with a two week minimum, or $3,950 for six weeks. The program includes weekly meetings with a spiritual nurturer, a private room and three meals daily, full access to our beautiful art studio and basic art supplies, daily meeting for worship and participation in shared community work. Note: the Reiki III workshop July 23 – 25, 2010 is not included in the Summer Resident Program term.
Summer term weekend and weeklong workshops will include:
- Circle of Trust retreat based on the work of Parker Palmer
- Teaching Power of Stories led by renowned storyteller Bill Harley
- Teaching as a Spiritual Practice with John Minahan
- Spiritual Autobiography workshop with Dan Wakefield
- Progoff Intensive Journal® workshop with Vic Kryston
