Doug Gwyn Doug Gwyn is a well-traveled Friend. He has worked for the American Friends Service Committee and served among Friends as a pastor and as a teacher at Pendle Hill and at the Woodbrooke Quaker Study Centre in Birmingham England.

Doug is a student of early Quakerism and has written several books and articles on early Friends, including Apocalypse of the Word, The Covenant Crucified, and Seekers Found. He is currently finishing a history of Pendle Hill.
