Benjamin WeissBenjamin Weiss is a certified permaculture designer and teacher. He has studied sustainable systems at The Farm Ecovillage Training Center, Growing Power, and the Central Rocky Mountain Permaculture Institute. Ben lives and works in the fertile cultural and agricultural soil of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.

He grows heirloom vegetables, studies and tends wild crops and ecosystems, and practices the cultivation of sensory awareness techniques and basic survival skills. He is in the process of writing a book about the importance of marginal lands and semi-wild ecosystems. Ben is a teacher of youths and adults, a musician, poet, farmer, spiritual seeker, and father.
